Gadgets and Gizmos for Asthma Control is a 14-minute video for school nurses. It offers demonstrations on the various delivery devices for asthma medication, and the peak flow meter.

Medications are a key component to controlling asthma. Their effectiveness depends on proper use of the delivery devices. We hope these demonstrations will be helpful.

This is general information. A person with asthma should always ask his/her health care provider to show him/her how to use the medication device that has been prescribed and to watch the person use it.

A person with asthma should ask his/her health care provider for a written asthma treatment plan that describes what medication to take, how much, and when to take it.
